  1. I can't locate this anywhere. I have a hunch that red onions are lower
in carbs than brown or white onions, but its just a hunch. Can anyone
point me in the right direction?

    Thanks...

I can't find anything on red onions, but Welsh onions have fewer carbs
than "onions" on this government list:

    http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

  3. Thanks for that.

  4. I've never heard of Welsh onions so googled them. They're not what you're
looking for; they're green or spring onions. I grew up calling red onions
    'Spanish onions'.
This was the only site I could find for red onions but it doesn't list the
    fibre:

    http://www.sppscafe.org/Red_Onion.html

However, when I look up regular onions in FitDay, it's the same total carb
    count.
