Seems a little corny to me, unless you have the cash to spare and want to buy it for the looks. I bought the matching Litespeed titanium seat post for my frameset years ago. It didn't seem so frivolous at the time. But in this economy, it seems like you could do a lot better spending your money on better tires or a new set of wheels or something.

i just put a GIANT blade carbon fibre post on my bike and it is the best thing i ever did. You just have to get the right size as it is a blade there are 7 different sizes. Plus it looks great. i dont know about weight but comfort is out of this world. Also is very expensive.
