Carbon Frame / Finishing

Most CF frames are made with alloy inserts for the HT and particularly BB. I it's an integrated HS you can't muck about with it yourself anyway.

I have been trying to get some more knowledge on this subject since I am about to start building up a new bike. It looks to me like most CF framesets come from the factory and are ready to be equiped.

About the HS (you mean head set I suppose) (don't forget I am not English). As far as I can see they often use industry bearings in the integrated variant. It shouldn,t be too hard to change these bearings for new ones, I guess.

With a splitter tube one can use a hammer to hit the bearings out of the head tube (tubo sterzo).
