i recently got my first road bike and fell in love with bike riding again. i wanted to upgrade the fork to a carbon one but i dont know what the rake size/length is. i noticed most are either 43mm or 45mm. will it make a huge difference if i was to get the wrong size? i have an 02 KHS Flite 300. thanks.

I know I have a Bontrager Carbon fork off of a 2006 Trek 5000 that I'd be willing to get rid of if the price was right... -
2mm of rake makes virtually no difference compared to other parameters, such as blade shape/design, steerer material, and probably blade length.
In my opinion, the only time you'd notice 2mm of rake difference is when comparing identical forks.
I've noticed more handling differences when changing a stem by 10mm! 🙂
