Has anybody ever heard of a carbon fiber quill stem being available? It seems like a natural retrofit product that could resurrect the life of many an older threaded headset bike...

If you're that hard up to fit a carbon stem on a bike equiped with a threaded headset, use any of the many adaprters available to use an ahead style stem with a threaded headset. Like others have mentioned, it seems like a bit of a waste in any event.
