Forum newbie here. It's been a long time since I worked in the cycling industry. I started over thirty years ago, working for the first company to make production frames in California. But, that's ancient history. What I need is a source for carbon fiber lugs. They don't have to be pretty, cost is more important. And, no, I don't intend to use them to build bicycles. I want to build a tube frame for a three wheel electric vehicle. Carbon fiber is the best material I know of. I'm just looking for an easy way to join the tubes. Anybody know of a good source? 😕

most of the high end carbon frames these days seem have one thing in common. They all have tubes that are mitered to very tight tolerances, and then they are "wraped" together - no lugs. Parlee, Scott, and many others. The thing would be to learn how to "wrap" - there are folks out there making their own Carbon fiber goodies these days, I guess if you can layup fiberglass, carbon is within your reach...
