I have recently acquired a set of full carbon Deda integrated handle bar and stem.
The graphic paint on the top of the bars wasn't in too good a condition and had what looked like a crack, so with care i used some wet and dry high grade sand paper and removed the graphics to see if the carbon was damaged.
It has revealed that there was no damage to the carbon, but I need to re-lacquer the bars and need to know what type of laquer can be used safely on the carbon.
Can a car paint clear lacquer be used for a light coat without damaging the carbon?
Cheers,
D.
