Hi to all . Can anybody please tell me if it is normal for a carbon bike frame to have an indentation near the bottom of the seat tube on the drive side, ( maybe for the front derailleur ) thank you.

We need to know what frame and see a picture. All frames are different it likely that it is OK, but more information is needed.

Hi thanks for your interest, I contacted the supplier and the indentation is to fit a band on derailleur. Just for the record the frame is a Ribble Evo Pro Carbon.
