  1. Caramel Apple Walnut Crisp

8 cups of sliced apples (Granny Smith apples work well)
    1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
    1 cup of brown sugar
    1 cup of white sugar
    1 cup of flour
    3/4 cup of soft butter
    1 cup of quick oats
    1 cup of regular oats
    1 cup of English walnuts
    1/2 teaspoon of salt
    Caramel (melted)

Spray a 9 by 13 inch pan well and place apples in the bottom. Mix the other
ingredients well until crumbly. Bake in center oven for 50 to 60 minutes at
350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until the pie starts to bubble/steam in the
center. Place loose foil over the top for the last 20 minutes if it's too
brown. Top with as much melted caramel as you want.
