Has anyone here bought one of these? Looks like it'd be pretty steady.

Have you considered the Saris Bones (http://www.saris.com/). We hook
ours up to a 206 and it's quite happy with three bikes. Should really
have a lighting board to go with it, though.

As a general comment, I've had no problem with stability wih any of these
types of carriers, hung carefully on the back of the car and driving
sensibly. What I have had a problem with is the straps slipping through the
crocodile clip style things after a few months use. The cure I found was to
buy a couple of small screw down clamps from the local DIY chain and fix
them on the straps.
