Individuals have loved the competition of "the race" for as long as there have been vehicles to race. Even before there were cars, if there were animals to pull the mode of moving, then the "race was on. " We have all read about the great chariot races of the times of the Roman Empire.
Man has evolved to sports car racing throughout the years and today it has become the most popular sports. With the invention of the motor motor vehicle, man not only gained a new form of transportation and a new way to race and stir up more level of competition.
The very first one that was held in the Ough. S. took place on November 28th, in the year 1895. The race happened in the city of Evanston, Illinois and was only a little bit over 54 miles. The whole race took over ten hours to conclude.
