Buy the one you like the best. They are outfitted with same level of components. From what I could find on line the retail price of the Cannondale is a couple of hundred less. So if bang for your buck is your main issue the Cannondale appears to fit the bill.

Have you tried them both? I am looking at the same two bikes, but 2013. Curious what you went with and why. I rode the cannondale already along with a few others and will ride the ruby in a couple of days. Hard to tell with short distances and testing at different shops since it is not the same exact terrain at all of the shops.
