Just bought a Cannondale F300 Mountain Bike - large frame size. First what is the correct sizing for a mountain bike? I am 6', with inseam on 36".
I was told two ways for gauging size of bike:
1) with seat in lowest position sit on bike and feet should not totally rest on ground.
2) standing over cross bar, should be 2" clearance from bar to crotch.
Are these correct assumptions.
