I ride an older Cannondale R500 that I converted into a tri-bike and raced until two years
ago, and can report to you that all Cannondales are light with very stiff aluminum frames.
If you want the power to be applied immediately with no spring action in the frame, those
models are the way to go. I'm a pretty big guy, so I like that instant acceleration when I
put the hammer down. By the way, check out the welds - the best I have ever seen. Plus you
