Hi Folks,
Have just acquired a Markill cannister gas stove remote adapter.

Check out the penultimate item on this page
It's an excellent piece of kit. Turns your favourite cannister stove into a
far mote stable and useful remote cannister stove.
I have been testing mine for the past few days and can't fault it. It's
weight, combined with an MSR Pocket Rocket only comes to 7 ozs. It all fits
nicely into a Kettley thing and it's well stable. Found an original
reference in Chris Townsends latest edition of Backpacker's handbook
(acquired by my book buyer early last week) and did a Yahoo search. It took
somefinding as Townsend refers to it as the "Markill Sidewinder" but it's
sold without that trademark. (it's probably made by Kovea!) I found it by
searching simply for "Markill Stoves" and then checking all the results.
It is very basic, but hey, what the hell, it does the job admirably and
complies with all international safety standards.
Hope this is of some use....
Cheers all, happpy trails,
John S-Mallory
