    It was a wild night at home.
    Even so it was fine enuff this morning to set off for a usual mob ride around the lake. It was around 6am so still dark.
    As I got closer to town the lake path became harder to see as it was covered in leaves and assorted [censored].
    Even closer to town it was ankle deep hail.
    Just localised around the Canberra city area.

    Brave schmave - blissfully unaware of the conditions at ANU (8-inch deep
    ice drifts and mud everywhere) I took my road bike that morning. Needless
    to say I had to go a bit slower than the MTBers 😉

    It was damned cool tho - no cars around the uni (yay) and lots of mist
    coming off the ice making it look like a zombie movie set 🙂
