Kenisis make aluminium frames for a lot of other manufacturers, their
own frames are pretty well regarded even though they aren't a cool
brand name.

I think they make forks for road bikes also.

kinesis does some damn good welding. they are based out of western US.
for a while I know they were doing a bunch of the better Iron Horse
frames, pretty sure they had a hand in the original Intense M1 frame as
well.
