Can a powertap hub work with Mavic Aksium wheel?

I'll be getting one of the Ant+ sport compatable hubs when they are released at the end of the year. I currently use Mavic Aksium training wheels and the rear wheel has 24 spokes. I'd like to continue using this rim and the black mavic-style spokes, simply swapping the mavic hub for the powertap one. Would the powertap's specific spoke lacing pattern be ok to use with the existing Aksium hub?

Thanks

Mavic wheels use proprietary spokes and I think you are out of luck.

I used an old orginal PT with an askium rim, not on askium spokes, you cant as the flange diameters therefore the spoke lengths are different. I had silver spokes as they were cheaper, but i'm sure a decent wheel builder will find you black ones.

Personaly I would recomend an OpenPro rim over the askium, a lot less flex, and you could race on it if needs be. I used the askium as I got the hub on a deal as it was 24spokes laced to a 650c rim.
