I think the new 2004 Campy Record carbon fiber bottle cages are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly light at 18 grams but my God are they expensive!! $115 apiece. Anybody spring for these yet?

At the last bit of my ride last weekend I happened to be alongside someone with a brand new Olmo carbon bike with a full 2004 Record groupset .. including carbon crank and bottle cage, the whole box and dice.
Nice guy too, had a nice chat etc. It was his first 'new' bike (his past bike was a secondhand one with Ultegra.)
Myself, I just use Minoura Dura-Cage bottle cages. AU$10 from the LBS, but double the weight. Oh, an extra 18 grams. 😉
man 115 for bottle cages, you really need to be nuts with light weight or maybe you are simply very rich!!
As they may come considerably cheaper when you buy a bike equipped with them I think it may be abusive to pay for that...

They're $95 at: Reparto Corse
...so save yourself $20.
