  1. All,

Finally got all my campy 10sp gear to replace my shimano stuff and I've got some cable questions. Can I use a standard brake/gear cable set with my campy 10sp gear or do I need to use campy specific gear cable ?

    Thanks,

    Ian

  2. By standard, I assume you mean Shimano compatible?

If so then yes you can (and reap the cost savings) but you have to be aware that the head on the shimano compatible inner cables may need to be sanded down if they dont fit in the slot in the ergoloever first go.

Beware of the campag outers though. They are notoriously inflexible and only allow for a bit of movement up or down in the stem height.
