A while back, I found myself in possession of a pair of Campy Mirage 9s Ergo levers with bad shift mechanisms. I stripped the shift mechanisms out, and the result is a pair of Campy Brake levers, very similar to the (very) expensive Record Carbon brake levers.
These have composite levers instead of carbon, and use the same 9s hood design as the Record units. In fact, except for the lever blade material, they're identical to the $100+ carbon Record brake levers.
