Is this a geographic thing? I've been hearing "Campy" as the vernacular term for Campagnolo for 35 years...here in the U.S. Is "Campag" a Euro/Brit kinda thing?

Yeah it's a geographical thing. Here in England Campagnolo is expressed in the vernacular as Campag.
In continental Europe they say Campa.
Same difference 🙂
