  1. I currently use Campy 2006 shifters with Shimano wheels on rwo bikes.
One with a shiftmate (10 speed) and one without without a shiftmate (9
speed). I am considering converting a third Shimano bike to Campy
shifters and wonder what if any differences I will encounter with the
2007 Campy shifters. I plan on using Chorus or Record Shifters.

Am I correct is understanding the right shifters pull the same cable
and would not be a problem?

Will the new left shifter be a problem with an older Campy FD ? What
    about with a Ultegra FD?

The Campagnolo Chorus and Record 2007 shifters did not get the index
quick shift thing. No problem using the left 2007 Chorus and left
2007 Record shifters with any and all front derailleurs. Its just the
Centaur, Mirage, Veloce 2007 left shifters that no longer work well
    because of indexed quick shift.
