  1. Does anyone know if I can use the new Campy Veloce 14-23 10 speed cassette as a 9 speed by omitting
the 23, resulting in 14-22? I assume I'll need to replace the 10 speed spacers. Would standard 9
    speed spacers fo the trick?

    Thanks for the help.

Since the difference in sprocket thickness between 9/10s is only .05mm (says uncle sheldon) it
should work with the 9s spacers.

Campagnolo 9s and 10s cogs are 'almost' the same thickness so by using yellow Campagnolo 9s spacers
and otherwise loose Veloce 10s cogset, you can use Campagnolo 9s shifters.

Are the spacers available separately or only by purchasing a cassette? Also, can they be modified to
work with Shimano hubs and cogs?

Wheels mfg sells 2.8 mm spacers. You cannot use 9 or 10 sp Campy cogs on Shimano hubs. If you use
the 2.8 mm spacers on a Shimano 9sp cassette, the cassette will not fit onto the Shimano hub body.
