Anyone know the requirements regarding Campy's flat bar shifters and the front derailleur? I know Campy has flat-bar specific front deraillers but want to know if regular front Ds can be used with these shifters.
To be blunt, Peter, can you elaborate on what you meant by cable something something "under the bolt"? Does that refer to some funky location of the cable attachment bolt that will allow the use of a regular road front D, simliar to alternative cable attachment for mixing shifter and rear derailler manufacturers?

The 2 flatbar shifters we have installed using the 'FB' FD, required that for the FD to travel far enough, the inner wire/cable had to be mounted under the fixing bolt rather than over it. With shorter arms, same problem with a standard FD. 2007 FDs('QS'😉 are all the same dimension as previous FB FDs.
