Campag 10 speed chains

Bear in mind that some (all?) of the alternative chains "for Campagnolo
10-speed" are wider than genuine Campag 5.9mm Ultra Narrow - so may be
noiser. Campag narrowed their chain from their original 10-speed spec to
reduce rubbing with adjacent cogs in the cassette.

I would just stick to Campag - or maybe look into Shimano 10-speed
compatible chain.

You can use another brand of connecting link with Campag chain, if you like.
I use Wipperman Connex.

KMC aren't bad. That said, I've found that original Campagnolo 10
speed chains seem to wear longer on my bike (which has Veloce
components).

I'm currently running a cheap Shimano 10 speed chain on my winter bike.
There's a new Campag 10 speed waiting to go on it when the salt's off the
roads, but the Shimano one works OK.

Having said that I think Campag chain, even at eighteen quid a pop, is
reasonable value for money. It lasts well, and is easy to keep clean - both
features of good materials and high quality finish.

I also use Wipperman Connex on my Shimano + Campag 10 speed. That's largely
due to me making a duff link on an Ultegra chain which snapped soon after.
The Connex system is more or less idiot proof.
