Today's Mail was poking fun at David Cameron's stance over cycling to work as a means of "doing his bit" to help eliminate greenhouse gasses. Trouble is there was a snag. Dave C did indeed cycle to work (as I've been doing for years) but he apparently had a gas-guzzling car ride along after him to bring him his change of shoes after the ride was completed.
Kind of defeats the object, huh?
He might as well have just got into the car in the first place? 😕
Myself, I just ride in my shoes if I have to or simply put stuff in a rucksack.
I wonder how Dave compared as a cyclist with George W Junior who is now supposed to be taking his rides quite seriously on the old MTB.
