    Um, if you're doing full range of motion, you're going to
    want to maintain tension over the full range...which is why
    there's a weight on a cable in your hands...

    if you do, just lower the seat. most people do this as a hip
    flexor anyway. that way they can move losts of weight
    and look good.

    Sorry, but when I do cable crunches, the tension is never released fully.
