I've got a 1990 Waterford Paramount which doesn't accept that plastic
cable guide block on the bottom bracket. I've seen bikes with what
look to be some sort of heatshrink/teflon covering over the cables and
was wondering what it is? I'm getting ready to swap out
levers/cables this weekend and would like to setup the bike with this.
