  1. Good morning, all.

I absolutely love the white 2009 caad9-5, but can only get the 9-6 in my size/color. Thinking of getting the 9-6 white and selling the stock tiagra group and tektro brakes and upgrading to a 105 or centaur groupset via pbk or totalcycling.

The shop suggests to run the tiagra until it is worn out, but I feel it is better for someone who rides occasionally, and I'd rather not junk it in a couple years if it is worth selling now while it would be new - offsetting my costs of upgrading now.

    My questions:
    1. Is one group more serviceable than the other? More reliable?
    2. How much would I likely get for selling the entire tiagra group, including cassette & chain? It's not a sought after group, yet would be new.
    3. I am 195lbs. I read that the stock wheels are not suggested for my weight. Your thoughts?

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thanks!
