Buying New Wheels, Help?

Hey, i do alot of single track cross country, and the occasional downhill madness, my current rims are [censored] ( not sure if i can swear ) heavily worn, can any one make some suggestions on new wheels, V Brake as i just dont like Disc Brakes. looking to spend around £80 per wheel, $140. Thanx
