Hi everyone,
I would like to know if anyone can tell me about the Belize bike company. They sell tandems and are based in Canada. The tubing used on this particular tandem which I have seen offered is CrMo/HiTen tubing. Any info. on this please. We don't want anything serious for a tandem, just something that is reasonably priced, which this one seems to be. All replies greatly appreciated. Thank you.
P.S. Anything on other makes of tandem welcomed

Ciao Pauly,
Do some on-line research. I have never heard of a Belize (beyond the country! :p) but that does not mean anything. For a first tandem I would seriously consider a used bike to make sure you are really into it...
The big brands all have decent tandems, including Cannondale, Trek, and of course, some of the specialised tandem makers, such as Arizona, Santana and Co-motion. There are plenty more, but these will give you an overview of the road tandems out there, components, frame materials, and prices.
