  1. It appears from the city of Winnipeg transit that there is only one
route (#60) that has a bike rack, and its only seasonal. Anyone here
in Winnipeg that can verify this? We are moving to the Peg soon and
hope to not purchase a vehicle, and if there's no bike racks this will
    influence our vehicle purchase 🙁

    Thanks!

  2. As of today the situation is that "there is no change". Route #60 only
and seasonal. I just telephoned Wpg transit and that is the info I
    received.

Winnipeg has a harsh climate in winter and only a few hardy types cycle
year ' round. One of my colleagues who does so, had to stop at my work
site this past week to warm up. Normally he does not stop to do so
anywhere between his site and his home.

  3. Thanks for phoning tansit for me Ken! My husband loves to cycle, so he
may be one of the hardcores, but we'll see. It may be a different
story once he trugs along in the snow a few times!

    Thanks again,
    Katherine
