Mine arrived today ! Already assembled in the lounge ready to go. Kids

Don't forget shipping, VAT and import duty.

400 USD ~ 230 UKP (credit card rate according to www.oanda.com)

230 + 15 shipping (guess) = 245 UKP

10% import duty 269.5 UKP
17.5% VAT 316.6 UKP

You'll probably get stung for a customs clearance fee as well,
depending on the parcel carrier. Could be 7-15 UKP.

www.wiggle.co.uk appear to be selling 'em for 360 UKP.

So it looks like you might save 45 quid by ordering from the states. I
might be wrong about the level of import duty -- it could be more or
less & the site which gives all the import duty ratings is being
*really* slow at the moment.

So it's not *quite* such a big difference once you've taken the taxes
into account.

Hmm. Prodding a different site which claims to give the import duty
rates suggests that bicycle trailers are either

1) Free of import duty, being 8716.10.00.30, ie:
Trailers and semi-trailers; other vehicles, not mechanically
propelled; and parts thereof -- less than 10.6m in length

or

2) 4.4% being 8715.00.00.20:
Baby carriages (including strollers) and parts thereof.
