  1. Hey i was just wondering if someone could me point in the direction to
a good tubing supplier. I want to build the frame from scratch and
weld custom angles; (its for a final year design project at the
University of Guelph) using elliptical crosse-sectioned tubing.

If anyone knows of a good supplier let me know. . . thanks so much

I assume you're outside normal bicycle dimensions?

The small aircraft industry sells seamless CrMo tube in various aero
sections. Usually 20-ft increments with a small cutting charge for
    shorter pieces

    Yep:
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/ (the catalog has a bunch of good
    information about various materials, too)
    http://www.wicksaircraft.com/catalog/product_cat.php/subid=5430/index.html

http://www.timpaterek.com/supply.htm has a bunch of pointers to
    suppliers of "normal" bicycle stuff.
