It is now getting realy annoying with those mosquitoes.
I was reading the "cautions" on a bug spray.... muskol, specifically. It said to avoid spraying on synthetic clothing. Cycling shorts and jerseys are usually made of lycra -- mine are -- and that is synthetic.
How should it be put on as to not come into contact with the clothing?
Does it have to dry.... or is this just an empty caution?
I use this one cus it works the best for me and those pesky mosquitoes..... I am not worried about west nile... just dont like getting bitten.

You should not apply it to clothing or skin under clothing anyway.
DEET will 'melt' plastic (so keep away from SRAM, ah, ah, death to you). It also works on contact with the skin only. That is the reason for the caution: it won't do any good and could damage the clothing.
Use the lotion and not the spray if you are really worried.
