    Easy Mint Brownies

1 package Duncan Hines Walnut Brownie Mix.
4 bars (5.3 ounces each) cookies and mint
    chocolate candy bars.
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, for garnish (optional).

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of a 13x9x2 inch pan. Prepare
and bake brownies following package directions for basic recipe chewy
brownies. Break chocolate candy bars along scored lines. Place pieces
immediately on hot brownies. Cover pan with aluminum foil for 3 to 5
minutes or until chocolate is shiny and soft. Spread gently to cover
surface of brownies. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if desired. Cool
completely. Cut into bars. Makes 18 bars.

Tip: Always use the pan size called for in Duncan Hines recipes. Using a
different size can give the brownies an altogether different texture.
