  1. I have been running in 2002 (?? grey with blue) Brooks Beasts for a
few years and found them to be great. I am a clydesdale, varying from
230-250 and have run a half marathon every spring, doing about 15-30
miles/week for training. I just bought a 2006 pair of Beasts and
noticed the toe box is very tight compared to my previous pair (same
size and width). Has anyone else noticed this? Has Brooks redesigned
    the functionality of the shoe?

    Cheers

Shoe companies run the company much like the car companies. They like
to keep a name plate that sells, but change, usually cheapen, the
product to make more money. Every shoe purchase should be considered
    individually.
