Rails on my current Flite are about 75mm long, saddle is ~140mm wide x 280mm long. Brooks quotes the B17 narrow as having 65mm usable rails, saddle is 155mm wide x 280mm long.
Since the saddles are the same length, I was wondering if anybody knows how the rails are situated underneath. I ride my current Flite about 10mm forward (on my seatpost) of the front rail curve - see photo. Given the B17 narrows rail length, will I be able to get it far enough back?

My B17 will not slide as far back as my Flite. My B17 is as far back as it will go, while my Flite still has some rail left. The B17 is on a Salsa Shaft, the Flite is on a Bontrager post. I don't know how different the seatpost setback is between them, so I can't say overall what the difference is.
