Brompton 2 or 3 speed

Very simply put..
Is a 2 or 3 speed better on the Brompton bikes?
Is there much of a difference?

I've seen plenty on them both, I was looking at the 2 speed C model cause it's lighter and my commute is short.
I've not got much of a commute to the train station, circa 1mile and on the other side is in London bridge so all pretty flat.
Got one hill at home which isn't that bad.
5ft 11. Currently have a Raleigh Evo 2 if that helps.
