Broken brakes.

Check out the Hayes website. www.hayesdiscbrake.com. They have FAQs
and contact info. I would try bleeding the brake first. It's easy,
simple, cheap, sometimes reveals other problems.
Hopefully you won't have to service the master cylinder. No fun.

noticable, grip on the front brakes. The only visible damage is scratches
to the lever and housing of the master cylinder. If it's not a fluid

I took my bike to the shop for a checkup and they replaced the brake lever
free of charge. I told him the brakes hit the ground because of an endo,
but he said it didn't matter because he's had several fail unexplainedly.
You gotta love it!
