Again just as with motorists its the few spoiling thing for the many, I'd quite happily see fines given for having no lights, ignoring red lights, going the wrong way down one way streets. However I will not be forced to wear a helmet and I will not pay road tax, not only because this doesn't exist, but if the roads actually fell into such a state then most cars will have been removed from the roads, and I'll just get some bigger tyres (oh and full sus, extra bits of carbon, hydrollic brakes.... any excuse to get a new bike :-)

If the journalist that wrote that had access to usenet I suspect he
would live under a bridge. It's typical "written to incite response"
