Hi everybody. I just got into the sport of cycling. Though i do not have any plans of racing I would like to be good in form and strength. Would i do this by doing training for races. I noticed cadence readings are important in training, correct me if im wrong. Would it be a good idea to get a computer with a cadence reading?

I got the Cateye Astrale 8 on ebay it had cadence but I got it mostly because it had a rear wheel speed sensor and it was wired. This gave me some feed back when I used the KK.
