I've been wondering what the appeal of supplementing with "branched chain amino acids" is. I see them advertised in capsule form, claiming to be "anti-catabolic". Wouldn't one get enough BCAA's from a decent protien power drink? The powder I use contains all the same amino acids (and more) than most of the seperate BCAA supplements contain. What's the advantage to having additional BCAAs in capsule form?

There is none, that I'm aware of. Just another supplement scam.
