can some one please give me a link to a guide that explains how to change break cables and how to take care of my breaks ?

its not hard, just take the cables out and you might want to replace the outer as well, so just take the cable out, cut the outers to length, thread it through how it was before and through the noodle (if theyre v brakes) then bolt it down, cut it to length and put a crimp on the end to stop it fraying if theyre v brakes just align the pad with the rim, the way i do it is to squeeze the brakes, get the pad in position then pull the brake as hard as you can while doing up the pad. if theyre discs theres a couple different designs but jut put the cable through and it will probably have an adjustor on the wheel side to wind in the pad so just adjust that for whatever you want. if theyre hydraulic then what type ?
and if you need more info than that (unless theyre hydraulic) i feel sorry for you, brakes arent THAT technical, go to parktool.com

thanks for the help I have V-brakes and I know its not that technical but when i wrote 'maintenance' I meant taking the arms that hold the breaking pas and cleaning them (i dont know how you call these arms in english sorry :P ). I know the baisics of switching cables but i thought that images might help.... 😄
