Brake Blocks right and left

  1. Hi

    Last week popped into LBS and asked for 2 sets of brake blocks when the
    chap gave me them he asked if I had fitted them before I said I had.

    Yesterday when I came to fit them I realised what the Guy at the LBS was
    talking about, the blocks are asymetrical ie the length of the block
    either side of the nut are different.
    The blocks are marked "L rim" and "R rim"

    Am I correct in assuming that left rim of the wheel is the left hand rim
    as I look at the wheel when I am sitting on the bike?

    Yes. As is the case with all bike parts.
