  1. Hi Folks,

I am looking to get some new break blocks as the ones I got with the
bike are wearing fast (v-brakes cheapy shimanos I think.)

I have read good things about the Kool stop pads
(http://www.wiggle.co.uk/?ProdID=5300005946) however, I would also have
to buy cartridge holders for these and I'm not sure which ones the pads
will fit onto (I can't find anywhere selling the Kool stop ones!).

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

    Dave

    There's these holders: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/?ProdID=5360019241

Or you could just get non-holder pads:

Are you sure these are the correct holders? This looks like the holder
for the Tectronic multi inserts. I think that is overkill for my
    purposes (4.5mile commute both ways).

The reason I want the insert holders is to make my life easier in the
long run, i.e. I shouldn't have to adjust the angle of the pads each
    time I change them.

    Cheers

In a LBS it looked as though the one piece inserts would fit it too,
but I haven't actually tried it. (I've got some brakes with a holder,
but I'm still using the pads that came with them.)
