"Australian Bradley McGee could miss next month's Tour de France after suffering an inflammation of a sciatic nerve problem during this week's Tour of Switzerland."
It seems that Brad has had a tough few years. I wonder if his problems are related to him trying to switch to a GC rider. In 2004 I think that he was 8th in the Giro and had high hopes for a strong GC finish in the TDF but dropped out in the first week.

I think he has given up on the GC efforts and is now aiming at Prologue +/- stage wins and overall success in ~1 week stage races. Either way he has a lot of problems with injuries and I find it frustrating not seeing him perform anywhere near his potential for the most part of the last 2 years.

I also wish him the best and hope that he gets everything sorted out soon. I only know what I read and hear about him from the bicycle racing media, so it might be pure spin, but he seems like a nice person.
