  1. Greetings all:

If you are a SoCal rider you are probably aware of Competitor
magazine. For the past several months they have run an ad in the
Sports Medicine section from a doctor advertising HGH injections for
athletes (this month the ad appears in page 82).

I have contacted Competitor Magazine a couple of times pointing out
that the ads are unethical, especially considering the three sports
the magazine targets (running, triathlon, and cycling) all face doping
problems, and all three sports' governing bodies outlaw the use of
    HGH.

    They have yet to respond.

Please join me in boycotting Competitor Magazine. If you are in a
store that carries the rag, please point out to the store manager that
the mag is carrying doping ads, and make it clear that they should
reject further deliveries of the magazine until Competitor comes out
and states they will not run ads from doping docs. If possible, please
contact any advertisers you see in the magazine. Also please help
spread the word to other athletes in the area.

Don't pick up Competitor Magazine. Don't support stores that stock the
rag. Don't support advertisers. When 98% of their issues remain on the
stands they will understand that clean athletes have had enough.

    Thanks,
    Ronde Chimp

    Dumbass -

Thanks for the info! I was wondering where I could get my hands on that
    stuff.

    K. Gringioni.

  3. That's terrible. So how much does he charge for a bi-weekly dosage of
    juice anyway?

    I'm running out.

    Thanks,

    Magilla

Even too much Orange Juice is not good.

Wow. I hope the boycott succeeds.
