What is the best BB tool for removing a Shimano Ultegra cartridge BB? I have the correct Park BB tool, but it doesn't seem to sit 'deep' enough into the cup to apply enough torque to loosen the cup. When I really start to apply force, it gets unseated and comes out.

My personal method: start on the drive side, and use a bolt through the center of the tool to secure it to the shaft; unscrew with a wrench on the hex instead of a ratchet in the recess The non-drive side will usually come right out without an argument once the drive side is backed out a bit. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. My Pedros BB tool requires some inward pushing force to be completely seated; it then requires some force to be removed. Hand force, not hammer force. -- Rick Onanian
